is a collaboration between two organisations –The English National Opera and The St. Marylebone School. Formerly known as “saturdaylive!”, takepart! was born out of a desire to provide open access to music theatre training for young people in a central London location. As part of its specialist school status in the performing arts the school was able to work in partnership with enobaylis (the education department of ENO) to create courses for 9 – 18 year olds in music, dance and drama. In recent years takepart! has extended its’ provision to include sessions for 4 – 8 year olds.
Due to its’ unique partnership takepart! brings together the experience of both arts practitioners and teachers to create a unique integrated performing arts course for young people in London.
